Technique
Flying High is a technique class offering a complex approach to building of your body. It includes exercises on relaxation of the body as well as on its maximal muscle mobilization.
We will learn to see ourselves from aside, ideally feel the position of our body in space, find primary impulses in movement and transform them into dance. We will understand where to get the energy from for wide and powerful movements, and how to correctly use our body centre for easy moving.
Much attention will be paid to work with the floor, jumps and dynamic travelling.
The class will be rather intensive, and we will improve our skills through dance phrases, diagonals and combinations taken from my experience as a dancer of European companies and as a student of Rotterdam Dance Academy.
The class is intended for people having experience in dance who would like to increase their technical level.
