Technique+Composition
The beginning of the class is rather active, much attention will be paid to technique. It is a kind of introduction to my esthetics of movement. It includes dance combinations, partnering, parterre. We will start from a basic combination and develop it into a solo, a duet, a trio with various tasks.
The next part of the class is dedicated to creating original material. I would like each of the participants to determine for oneself what composition is for him or her. I am always interested in a story, specific or abstract, that becomes materialized through dance.
An inseparable part of the class is improvisation, both free and limited by the frames of a certain task. In the process we will try to avoid standard solutions.
The outcome of the class can comprise performing of the created pieces and discussing them.
