Space. Composition. People.
laboratory

Questions like "what is space", "how can we mark one space inside another", "how can we create a predominant space and dissolve it", "how is it possible to take the whole space upon oneself and how to get lost in it" are an old matter of dispute and investigation among those working with space: architects, designers, scenographers, stage directors.

We’ll try to get these questions through our head and find answers by studying the composition laws, creating well-balanced and accentuated, static and dynamic compositions in space, finding a place for an object, person, group of people in a given space: stage, room, street, etc.

In class we will try to create static (photo) and moving (video) compositions on stage, in a room, in an open space with the help of objects, people, their moving and making accents on different points, we’ll try to understand how the position of the same object, costume, person, or his or her environment can change their perception by the viewer, creating different images.
